Linvisibile Linvisibile is the first Made in Italy brand of doors and clousures totally flush-to-wall.

15/10/2026

We started with the details: the flush edge of an aluminium frame, a leaf that glides without a sound, a handle that vanishes into the surface.

Then we pulled back — and the full picture came into focus. Spaces where every element belongs, where nothing interrupts the architecture and everything serves the design.

This is what we build, project after project. Not just doors, but the quiet confidence of a room that knows exactly what it is.
Italian craftsmanship. Infinite finishes. Zero compromises.

From private residences to luxury hospitality, from contract interiors to the most demanding architectural visions — Linvisibile offers a complete system of sliding, pivot and hinged doors, entirely Made in Italy, designed to disappear and built to last.

Because the best design is the one you feel before you see it.

On October 8th, at Sala Arengo in Ferrara, we tried to give a story back to the objects we use every day without knowing who invented them.

Looking at the photos from that afternoon, what strikes us most is the full room and the attention with which architects, designers and professionals followed a theme that may look like a curiosity at first, but is really about what it means to design something meant to outlast the name of its creator.

Our thanks go to Professor Michele Ronconi, who guided us through his “30 oggetti in cerca d’autore”; to Elena Borghi, whose talk “Le origini della porta” took the audience from prehistory to today’s design; to the Order of Architects of Ferrara and the Fondazione degli Architetti di Ferrara for the collaboration; and to everyone who took part and brought the final discussion to life.

The carousel shows a few moments from the day. The full story of the event is in the article we published today on our website.

Yesterday, Sala Arengo in Ferrara became the place where we tried to give back a name, or at least a story, to the objects we use every day without asking who invented them. It was a wonderful afternoon, and the credit goes to many people.

We thank Professor Michele Ronconi, who guided us through his “30 oggetti in cerca d’autore” (“30 objects in search of an author”), and Elena Borghi, whose talk “Le origini della porta” (“The origins of the door”) took the room from prehistory to today’s design.

A heartfelt thank you to the Order of Architects of Ferrara and the Fondazione degli Architetti di Ferrara for the collaboration, and above all to every professional who took part and brought the final discussion to life.

On Tuesday we’ll publish the blog article telling the story of the event and share the photos from the day: join us to relive the best moments.

One of the most recurring challenges in high-end residential and contract projects is this: how do you introduce a sophisticated sliding door system into an existing space without structural intervention?

The Infinito Modular Sliding System was designed precisely to answer that question.
It is an external sliding system with no containment pocket — no cavity to build, no masonry work required. The door travels along the wall surface, suspended on a rail that can be fully recessed into the ceiling or concealed behind an anodized aluminium profile. The result is a clean, continuous surface that moves when needed and disappears when it doesn't.

What makes it truly modular is its expandability: starting from the base configuration of one fixed leaf plus one mobile leaf, additional leaves can be integrated to suit any spatial requirement. Each panel features an anodized aluminium perimeter frame that accommodates virtually any decorative finish up to 3 mm thickness — glass, ceramic, leather, wood veneer, metal, fabric — allowing complete customization without ever compromising the integrity of the system.

Why architects and designers choose it:
— Expandable leaf-by-leaf to fit any space configuration
— Compatible with the full Linvisibile finish palette
— Recessed handle as standard, fully customizable
— Entirely Made in Italy

For projects where flexibility and aesthetic precision must coexist, the Infinito Modular Sliding System offers a solution that is as technically rigorous as it is visually refined.

For decades, flexibility in design meant choosing an open plan and accepting its limits: no acoustic privacy, no visual separation, no way to close a room when the moment called for it. A fixed floor plan, however generous, can only ever resolve one scenario well.

Our Modular Sliding System family is built around a different idea: specify a system that reconfigures the plan itself, and let one footprint serve several purposes across a single day — at home or at work. A living and dining area that opens for a Sunday morning and closes into an intimate lounge by night. A home office that disappears once the work day ends. An open desk floor that becomes a private meeting rooms in minutes, then opens back up for an all-hands.

The family comes in three configurations, so the right one can be matched to the room and the finish a project needs. The base Modular Sliding System, with its honeycomb-core panel, is the most versatile for opaque, paintable surfaces or wood finishes. Linea, framed in anodized aluminum with a glass panel, keeps light moving between the spaces it divides. Infinito, also framed in anodized aluminum, is built for double-sided finishing — each leaf can show a different finish to each of the two rooms it separates, which makes it a natural fit for contract projects where a partition needs to serve two distinct zones at once, such as a private office on one side and a shared lounge on the other.

None of the three require a containment pocket, so there's no masonry work before installation, and every leaf stays visible as a decorative surface in its own right.
Curious which configuration fits your next project — residential or contract?

Every LINVISIBILE panel ships with its own dedicated accessories kit, and it's one of the most important things on site from the moment the box is opened.

The kit contains all the components required to complete the installation: hinges with cover and fixing screws, the lock in the version specified at the time of order, the lock's striker, and the seal.

Our team places each kit by hand inside the box before it's sealed, so that everything arrives together, in one place, ready for installation day. The installer's job is to keep it that way, stored safely, separate from other site hardware, clearly identified from delivery through to completion.

One important note: the kit shown in this video is specific to the Filo 5 Hinged Door. The exact contents vary depending on the door model ordered, so always refer to the technical documentation supplied with the product.

This video is part of our ongoing series of installation tips, practical insights from the field, for everyone who works with our systems every day.

A few weeks ago we told you about an afternoon dedicated to the objects we use every day without ever knowing who invented them.

Today we're back with an update: only 10 spots remain for "30 oggetti in cerca d'autore," taking place on October 8th at Sala Arengo in Ferrara.
Michele Ronconi will open the event with a reflection on everyday inventions whose authorship has been lost over time, followed by Elena Borghi's talk on the origins of the door.

The event is organized by Linvisibile together with the Order of Architects of Ferrara and the Fondazione degli Architetti di Ferrara, and grants 3 continuing education credits (CFP) for members of the Order.
Seats are limited, and we're almost at capacity. If you'd still like to join us, now is the time to register here: https://30oggetti-linvisibile.eventbrite.it/

We're excited to share our new seasonal selection, "We Introduce You Autumn."

As the light changes, so does the way we experience interiors: softer shadows, deeper tones, a slower pace that invites us to notice details we might otherwise overlook.

This collection of project images captures that shift, spaces built around warm materials, quiet corners, and light as it moves through the day.

LINVISIBILE flush-to-wall systems find their place naturally in these settings, letting walls stay continuous and spaces breathe, so what stands out is the atmosphere itself rather than the boundary between rooms.

We invite you to explore the full selection and imagine your own spaces through an autumn lens.

Get in touch with us to bring these ideas into your next project.

The real test of a flush-to-wall door system isn't how it looks when it's noticed, it's how well it disappears.

At Pure Form House in Lardero, La Rioja, architect Esther Vicario Azcona designed a residence where geometric purity and spatial continuity define every room.

Our ALBA Filo 5 Hinged Door, in "As wall" finish, was the natural fit for this language: the panel merges seamlessly into the wall surface, with no frames or visible hardware to interrupt the orthogonal geometry of the plan.

It's a small detail with a big effect allowing the space itself, rather than its boundaries, to tell the story of the house.
