🩵 A Win for Women’s Health in Jersey

Huge thank-you to Kate from Endometriosis Jersey and our PCOS Jersey committee member for sharing this update!

The newly renovated female ward at Jersey General Hospital is reopening giving women their own dedicated space again for the first time since before the pandemic.

Why this matters for women with PCOS?

🩵 More privacy and dignity during gynaecological care
🩵 A calmer, specialist space for procedures linked to cysts, bleeding, or fertility
🩵 Staff focused on women’s health, reducing stigma and improving support

With over 1,650 women reporting gender inequalities in healthcare, this is a positive step forward for all women on the island especially those navigating PCOS.

🩵 Progress like this truly matters.

WOMEN will have access to a dedicated female ward in the Jersey General Hospital for the first time since before the pandemic. The new surgical ward will open next week following a six-month renovation project. It will form part of the Rayner Outpatients’ Department, and contains ten surgical beds...
