​When someone recently suggested I needed to reflect, a quiet laugh rippled through me. As a devoted student of self-study, the irony wasn't lost on me. Yet, true practice leaves no stone unturned; the true practitioner always bows to the mirror, no matter who holds it up.

​Western yoga often reduces practice to physical movement—instructing us to flow through vinyasa until breath or energy gives out. But the real work is found in the willingness to stumble twice over the same truth, chasing those sudden, illuminating flashes of aha.

Connection to self is sacred. I am feeling so much gratitude for the beautiful opportunities to connect to the land, swim in the waters, and co-create with beautiful souls. 🌿🌊

​In a world where practice is so often put on display for consumption, I choose a different path. I am continuing to ask myself the quiet questions and allowing space for the responses to land—away from the noise and the distortion of the camera. This is a different lens for me and I ask myself:

​What does it look like to offer reverence and honor my lineage?

How can I authentically show up for myself, so I can truly show up for others?

What does being in community actually embody?

​Returning to the roots, doing me, and honoring what is sacred 🌅
