A few things worth sharing as we closed out Q1.

1. CMN Solutions added the Township of Edison as our newest municipal client.

On paper, that looks like a health education contract. In practice, it's something closer to building the public health infrastructure a community deserves but rarely gets, chronic disease prevention, mental health programming, lead education, nutrition, emergency preparedness, and PHAB accreditation alignment, woven together into a coherent plan rather than delivered as a patchwork of one-off events.

2. We also formalized our collaboration with Crossroads4Hope, an organization doing substantive work at the intersection of food access, community stability, and human dignity. They provide support, information, resources, and access to professionals fundamental to living through and beyond cancer with strength and hope.

This partnership reflects where CMN Solutions has always been headed: building alongside organizations that treat community health as a structural issue, not a behavioral one.

CMN Solutions partners with Crossroads4Hope to bring supportive cancer care and public health education to the communities we serve across New Jersey. Through this partnership, residents gain access to programming, resources, and nutrition education that extend beyond what any single organization can provide alone.

This is what expanding our network looks like, connecting the right people, in the right communities, with the right resources.

As many of you know, CMN Solutions began with a strong focus on nutrition education. Over the past 9 years, our work has grown intentionally and in response to real community needs.

Today, we are health professionals and public health educators with deep expertise in health education, health equity, and health literacy, working across both the public and private sectors to reduce health risk and improve outcomes.

While nutrition education and curriculum development remain core to our work, our services now span a broader range of public health priorities, including:

We had the most meaningful roundtable with a group of seniors, diving deep into how chronic diseases, like diabetes, connect to our daily values, medication adherence, and, of course, the food and lifestyle choices we make.

Adapting to the needs of different groups is key in my work. Whether we talking to seniors or adults aged 18 to 55, the way I present and engage must change to resonate with each demographic. It’s all about connecting in ways that matter.

Being able to have these discussions and impact communities on such a grassroots level is incredibly rewarding. But knowing that the work also contributes to broader public health and nutrition efforts makes it even more fulfilling.
