LOOOOOOOVing my new kitchen gadget. It’s not new but finally got round to testing it out and not saving it for best 🤣🙄!)

And amazingly it was AS easy and AS effective as it looked on the ad - until I got to the chicken 🫣 Works beautifully on anything hard - cucumber, radish, red onion, feta - obviously!

I will absolutely be nailing the chicken situation next time 💪

This chopped chicken salad with lemon tahini dressing is gonna become a staple. My brother and husband were ALL over it. Throw it in your glass Tupperware and you have the most perfect packed lunch going.

For years, like most of us, I chased a smaller number on the scale ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Now I’m focused on building a stronger body 💪 ↗️ Because after 50, strength is the best investment ✅

It took me a long time to properly grasp that eating to be lean and eating to build muscle are NOT the same thing.

While going through the ‘eat less and move more era’ I wasn’t thinking clearly about muscle and what the female body required to build it ⬇️

✅ More protein
✅ More food
✅ More recovery
✅ More patience

And in this building process sometimes the scale doesn’t move at all.

Thirty years of making wellness harder than it needed to be 🙄😂

The protocols. The all or nothing thinking. The morning routines I lasted three days on. The guilt every time I missed a session or didn’t eat amazingly! Thankfully those days are long gone!

And then slowly - without really noticing - everything shifted.

Not because I found the perfect plan. But because I stopped looking for one. And I chilled out!

This carousel is everything I wish someone had told me thirty years ago. The stuff that actually moved the needle. The stuff I had completely wrong. And the one slide near the end that has nothing to do with wellness and everything to do with how I want to live now. Grabbing life by the balls!

Somewhere between the tomatoes, olive oil, burrata and dinners to die for… I completely fell in love with the Mediterranean way of eating.

Jersey Royals are sacred here 🇯🇪

Butter, mint, done ✔️ that’s the rule.

My husband was not convinced when I went rogue with the crush and roast situation. But (as usual 😉) he is now fully converted.

Another gorgeous way to eat the most beautiful seasonal potato we have on this island 🥔

Jersey Royal Crushed Potatoes

Wash. Par boil in salted water 12–15 mins until soft. Drain. Place on a tray and gently crush each one. Olive oil, salt. Roast 200°C / 180 fan for 25–30 mins until golden and crispy outside, soft inside.
