Today, I had the privilege of speaking with Johnny Daley and Dahlia Harris on Radio Jamaica about men’s health — a conversation that is always urgent, necessary, and long overdue.
We discussed the importance of screening, early intervention, and prevention for men in our society. Too often, men wait until something is wrong before seeking medical attention, but prevention starts with simple steps: checking your blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar, cholesterol, kidney and liver function, and doing your executive blood profile.
We also spoke about age-appropriate cancer screening and why early detection matters. The earlier we identify risk, the greater the chance of preventing complications, saving lives, and helping men live longer, healthier, stronger lives.
Men’s health is family health. It is community health. It is national health.
Gentlemen, don’t wait until you feel sick. Get checked. Know your numbers. Protect your future.
