The Rotary Club of Amman West gathered on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026, for a special Membership Reception celebrating our vibrant community in a wonderful family environment. We were honored to welcome H.E. Jacob Prado, the Mexican Ambassador, alongside distinguished Rotary leaders, club presidents, assistant governors, and guests.
​A major highlight of the night was welcoming our newest member, Dr. Rania Samara! Warmly introduced by PP Ala Haddad, Dr. Rania was officially pinned by President Maha Qubain, PDG Bashar Haddad, and Assistant Governor Mahfouz Said.

The Rotary Club of Amman West participated in a joint meeting hosting the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Jordan, H.E. Mrs. Stella Kloth, organized by RC Amman Philadelphia on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the Landmark Hotel.

The joint meeting brought together fellow Rotary clubs—including RC Amman, Amman Petra, Amman Cosmopolitan, and Amman River Jordan—alongside the presence of DGN Maher Al-Khaiyat

It was a unique, insightful, and friendly discussion that highlighted the strong and longstanding diplomatic relations between Jordan and the Netherlands—a partnership built on mutual respect, innovation, and shared values. Discussions focused on key areas of cooperation, including sustainable water management, agricultural technology, economic development, and humanitarian support.

The event celebrated the deepening friendship and people-to-people connections between both nations, reaffirming the vital role of international dialogue and diplomatic collaboration in driving positive community impact.

A truly enlightening meeting at the Rotary Club of Amman West yesterday headed by President Maha Qubain! We were privileged to host Dr. Amer Gharaibeh, who spoke on the vital topic: Physiological Changes in a Woman's Life: Between Self-Awareness and Family-Societal Support. Dr. Gharaibeh—a pioneer in Maternal-Fetal Medicine in Jordan and a dedicated humanitarian—provided our members with invaluable insights. He expertly navigated the complexities of how women can move through life’s transitions of pregnancy and menopause, emphasizing that true well-being relies on the vital harmony between individual self-awareness and the support systems provided by family and society.
It was a smooth, lively, and thought-provoking meeting that challenged us to rethink how we support the women in our lives through every stage of their journey. The Rotary Club of Amman West successfully conducted its Club Handover Meeting for the 2026–2027 year on July 1 2026. It was an evening filled with gratitude, fellowship, and exciting plans for the future.

​Outgoing President Hisham Hawari shared a look back at our proudest moments, thanking every member for their incredible support. Turning to the future, incoming President Maha Qubain took the floor to outline her wonderful aspirations and vision for the upcoming year! 🤝✨
​President Hisham warmly passed the torch, wishing her a phenomenal year of leadership.

On Wednesday, June 17th, the Rotary Club of Amman West joined fellow clubs across Jordan for the beautiful Country Handover Ceremony. It was an unforgettable evening of fellowship, celebrating our shared achievements and welcoming a new year of impact.

The Rotary Club of Amman West participated in a joint meeting hosting the Canadian Ambassador to Jordan, H. E. Louis-Martin Aumais which was organized by RC Amman Philadelphia on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. The joint meeting was alongside the participation of fellow Rotary clubs: Amman, Petra, Jerash, Amman West, Cosmopolitan, Ammon, and Jordan River and Amoon.
The gathering highlighted the strong and longstanding friendship between Jordan and Canada — a relationship built on mutual respect, cooperation, and shared values. Discussions emphasized Jordan’s vital role in promoting regional stability, dialogue, and humanitarian leadership, while recognizing Canada’s continued support in development, education, innovation, and cultural exchange.
The event also celebrated the growing people-to-people connections between Jordanians and Canadians through education, business, and diplomatic collaboration, reaffirming the importance of international partnerships in addressing today’s global challenges.

Members of the Rotary Club of Amman West celebrated the 30 years of creating sustainable impact in our community last Wednesday. 💙
From early initiatives like Meals on Wheels & Blood Donation campaigns (since 1996), to school bags (1998) and greenhouses in Sheikh Hussein, our journey has grown with purpose.
We continued with impactful projects including:
✨ Microfinance for women in Aqaba
✨ Darajati Project (2014)
✨ Rotary Forest & environmental initiatives
✨ Support to Dar Al-Khansaa & vocational training
✨ PolioPlus contributions
✨ Annual support for children through Ramadan & Christmas initiatives
