My thoughts for today, figure it out!
If you don’t want to go to the gym, bring the gym to you.
I will work out anywhere. But as a very busy wife, dog mom, school teacher, and business owner, my time is my scarcest resource.
Instead of hauling myself to the gym, driving in traffic, and having to awkwardly wait around through 5-minute rest times after my biggest lifting sets...
I built a gym in my home. It’s my favorite place in the house!
During my rest periods, I get to enjoy my warm coffee, cuddle a little dog or three, write in my journal, switch the laundry over, or finish straightening my hair. I am maximizing my life while building my body.
Where there is determination, there is a way.
Stop waiting for the "perfect" 2-hour window to appear. Figure it out.

Can we talk about the power of the female body for a second?! Just hopped off my evening coaching calls and I am buzzing. My clients are absolutely crushing their frameworks right now. Look at what happens when you stop dieting and actually build a system that works for YOUR life:
- Skin clarity and pigmentation clearing up (hello, cellular healing!).
- Brain fog completely gone.
-Less pain in the body.
- Strength skyrocketing so much that one of my queens casually carried her husband out of a restaurant on her back! That one had me laughing! he said..."Why are you so strong?"
- Sleep hygiene on point and energy overflowing into their families.
This is what happens when you treat fitness as an infrastructure, not a chore. I am the proudest coach on the planet tonight! Wow, I just love helping my ladies! whoohoo! Less excuses. More biceps.

I used to think fitness was a strict math equation: 8 weeks + zero misses + pushing through = success. I used to push through painful cycles, sick kids, and total burnout just to "finish" a program or check a box. I am so type A that I gamify everything. I always started with great Intensions, and I almost always finished, but it kinda sucked, not gonna lie.
Since 2024, having my own coach has completely flipped that cycle .
Today when I finished my strength and cardio sessions, the first thing I wanted to do was message her. I never get tired of knowing she’s there in my back pocket.
What I’ve learned is that fitness isn’t a sprint; it’s a marathon. It’s a lifestyle and imperfect consistency. Not every day is perfect, and not every win shows up on the scale, often it’s just in easier movement, higher jumps, more pull ups, better sleep, less wrinkles, I could go on. True progress shows up in how I show up for myself, day after day .
Sometimes life is the workout. Sometimes I’m overworked or just stinking tired. But having a coach means I’m never navigating those moments alone. I invest in myself so that I can enjoy my life and do what I want to do. Honestly, I wish I’d discovered personal coaching years ago.
I try to be that same in her back pocket for my ladies as she is for me. I know they have their ups and downs, but as long as they keep showing up, I know they are moving forward, and they know it too.
Every woman should invest in herself. I believe this deep in my incredible, strong bones! 💪✨

High‑achieving women walk into the gym every day without a strategy that actually builds the strong, capable body they want. And honestly, you deserve better than “just showing up.” We want muscles, baby.
You don’t need more motivation. You already have that.

This week was such a powerful reminder of why I love this work. My clients are having breakthroughs in their fitness, their nutrition, and — the hardest part — their mindset. Watching grown‑ass women step into their strength in all three areas is honestly the best part of my job.
I also wrapped up the third phase of a 24‑week advanced lifting program for a client who, when she first came to me, had never touched a barbell. Now she’s moving through an advanced block like she was born for it. That’s what happens when a grown‑ass woman decides she’s ready to get strong. Another client completed her 24 week Intermediate program and this week I will create her first phase of her 24 week 3 day a week full body advanced lifting program! Whoohoo!
Another client came to me with an injury from another activity, and instead of losing momentum, we rebuilt her entire week of training to support her recovery while still making progress. This is the part of coaching I love — creating custom programs that meet women exactly where they are, even when life shifts.
What else can we celebrate?

Why I’m prioritizing top-half pull-ups in my [perimenopause/menopause] training:
• Bone Density Boost: High-tension compound movements are some of the best ways to signal our bodies to keep bones strong as estrogen levels shift. 🦴
• Combat Sarcopenia: Keeping the muscles under tension at the hardest part of the lift helps preserve and build lean muscle mass (crucial for a healthy metabolism!).
