This weekend, One Mama Midwife was in the room in Caringbah, North Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne 🇦🇺

The first time I’ve been shocked while breastfeeding in 5 full breastfeeding experiences…

Today in Disney sea I was told I couldn’t breastfeed and honestly I felt so shocked. I completely understand and respect that this is part of their culture but it also made me feel like I was doing something wrong for just feeding my baby.

Obviously I respected their wishes but it still made me realise how far we have to come as a world in protecting breastfeeding mamas 🤍

When packing for Japan, I was searching Instagram and all of the lists of what to take were so long and overwhelming.

I promise you don't need to take your whole house with you when travelling. Here is my list of what we're taking carry on for our 8 month old:
✨ Plane toys
✨ Nappies & Wipes
✨ Nappy bin bags
✨ Spare clothes - 2-3x spare outfits depending on how long the flight is
✨ Snacks
✨ Bib
✨ Baby Carrier
✨ Ziploc bags - for any soiled clothes or half eaten snacks
✨ For the older kids I have packed a "boredom pack" - inside is uno cards, flip 7, monopoly deal, colouring books and textas
