We’re grateful to have been featured and interviewed by PTS Public Television Service (公視) for their IN-NEWS / 獨立特派員 program, sharing our journey as Indonesian students and Muslim families living in Taiwan.
When we first came to Taiwan, finding halal food wasn’t always easy. Different languages, unfamiliar ingredients, and labels we couldn’t read sometimes made something as simple as eating out feel like a guessing game.
And that’s where the idea behind Halal Formosa began. 💻📱
We wanted to create something that could make halal living in Taiwan easier, not only for travelers, but also for the many Muslim students, workers, families, and communities who call Taiwan home.
Today, Halal Formosa is growing beyond just a food guide. We’re building an ecosystem to help Muslims discover halal and Muslim-friendly food, scan products, find prayer spaces, and explore Taiwan with more confidence.
What started from our own experience has become something we’re truly grateful to share with the wider Muslim community.
Thank you, PTS IN-NEWS, for telling our story and for giving us the opportunity to share a little glimpse of Muslim life in Taiwan. 🥹🤍
