✨Today I say goodbye to the previous year of life and welcome my sweet 38🎉🎉🎉

The bitterness is that this is the third birthday not at home, because my dear Ukraine 🇺🇦 is still under Russian attack.

As this is the day when all dreams come true, I also have one:

In fact it took me more than two hours to clean the beautiful Japanese shrine’s territory that stays under the powerful old trees and was covered with a thick layer of dry leaves. 🍂 The place changed significantly, it ended looking lonly and abandoned. Hope the spirit of the mountain is also satisfied ✨

Actually, Ukraine and Japan have a lot in common. One of such things is nature, that is gorgeous and I feel like home here. And you need to take care of the home, especially if the spirit of your favorite hill lives in it

In this cosy place in the Japanese forest stay a little shrine where the spirit of the mountain lives, and grow very old trees. The leaves were everywhere in a thick layer. So one nice sunny day I’ve decided to rake them

Today is a special holiday in Japan, 雛祭り (Hinamatsuri) - the Girls' Day (also Doll's Day). To this day a different level red platforms with dolls 雛人形 (reading: hina-ningyō) representing the Japanese Emperor, Empress, musicians, and other attendants, dressed in the unique historical kimonos are demonstrated. What is interesting, this tradition is still kept and a girl in a family has at least two special dolls, that are sometimes passed down through generations!

When I decided to pick up a piece of plant lost by a gardener on the way to the trash in the street and try to cure it at home, I noticed that it didn't come alone! Did you know that beautiful crustacean woodlice evolved from marine isopods in Mesozoic Era, so they have lived on the Earth since 145 million years ago? Now she lives in the woods near the house, hope she likes it there.

Misogi-jinja Shinto Shrine is a place in the Japanese mountains, where it is believed that actions can't be "good" or "bad" and everything can lead to anything. Only pure doing from your heart matters.

As for me, the context is very important. And remember the 5p rule: in Ukrainian "погана підготовка призводить до поганих подій" (reading: pohana pidhotovka pryzvodyt do pohanyh podiy)- in English "bad preparation leads to bad events". Just make ready beforehand, act with good intentions, and everything else will be ok sooner or later.

Honestly, I've never understood why I like these Cosmos flowers growing in the Japanese 🇯🇵 mountains so much. As it appears, they are part of the huge sunflower family. Actually, a sunflower is the unofficial plant symbol of Ukraine 🇺🇦. To tell you the truth, sunflowers 🌻, together with the Ukrainian redbeet soup Borshch are in my veins ♥️, so to say. Now there are Cosmos flowers there, too.
