Here's why raw nuts are more preferred compared to fried or roasted nuts.

Raw nuts are often considered healthier than fried nuts, and in some cases may offer slightly more nutritional benefits than heavily roasted nuts.

Why Raw Nuts Are Often Preferred
1. More Healthy Fats Remain Intact
Nuts contain heart-healthy unsaturated fats. High frying temperatures can damage some of these fats, reducing their nutritional quality.

2. Higher Antioxidant Content
Some antioxidants, such as vitamin E and certain plant compounds, can be reduced by excessive heat during roasting or frying.

3. No Added Oils
Fried nuts are usually cooked in oil, which adds extra calories and may introduce unhealthy fats depending on the oil used.

4. Less Sodium
Many roasted and fried nuts are salted. Excess sodium can contribute to high blood pressure in some individuals.

5. Better Weight Management
Raw nuts are naturally satisfying without the extra calories from added oils and coatings.

Are Roasted Nuts Unhealthy?
Not at all. Dry-roasted nuts (roasted without added oil) are still very nutritious and retain most of their health benefits. They can be a great option if you prefer the taste and crunch.

‎Orange banana smoothie tastes so good.
‎Had promised to share one recipe on how to use orange peels in my previous post.

‎I swear it's so delicious.

‎Many people have been assuming the peels are part of the dirt thrown in the dustbin. But hey you are missing out on alot of good nutritional value from them .

‎Here's is the ingredients and how to prepare.
‎Check image of ingredients on my first comment.

‎One organic orange unpeeled
‎Two ripe bananas or one depending on how much you want to make
‎Yourght plain 250mls or 500mls
‎Dessicated coconut handful
‎Handful of raw peanuts
‎Water

‎Cut unpeeled orange add in a blender, add sliced ripe bananas, add dessicated coconut and raw peanuts then water and yourght.

‎Serve and enjoy.
