Let me say this boldly…

A serious town is not measured by speeches.
It is measured by systems.

One heavy rain should never destroy roads worth millions. Yet this is what keeps happening because drainage has been treated like a side issue instead of a development priority.

The truth is:
Ol-Moran does not just need roads.
Ol-Moran needs engineered infrastructure.

Without proper drainage:
❌ Roads collapse
❌ Businesses suffer
❌ Flooding increases
❌ Transport becomes expensive
❌ Development slows down

A modern Ol-Moran must think beyond short-term politics.

We need:
✔️ Modern drainage channels
✔️ Proper culverts
✔️ High-standard roads
✔️ Planned water flow systems
✔️ Long-term infrastructure vision

Because real development is not about launching projects every election cycle.

Real development is building systems that still work 15 years later.

If we want Ol-Moran to become a business hub in Laikipia, then we must start planning like a future municipality, not a temporary shopping center.

Today’s politics has changed.

People are no longer impressed by convoys, empty promises, or loud speeches. Citizens want vision, accountability, and real development they can see and feel.

The youth are looking for opportunities.
Business people want a growing economy.
Families want better roads, water, security, healthcare, and education.

That means leadership today must be about solutions and not slogans.

Ol-Moran has the potential to become one of the strongest business and growth centers in Laikipia North. We have hardworking people, smart youth, and great potential.

What we need now is leadership with long-term thinking, proper planning, and the courage to raise standards.

Development is not about doing projects for campaign photos.
It is about building systems that improve people’s lives for many years.

The time has come for Ol-Moran to think beyond politics and focus on transformation, economic growth, and the future of our children.

2027 is not just another election.
It is a decision about the direction of Ol-Moran.

Ol-Moran kwa muda mrefu tumekuwa watu wa bidii, wenye kujituma na wenye moyo wa maendeleo. Kwa pamoja tumeikuza Ol-Moran kuliko ilivyokuwa hapo zamani, na pongezi kubwa kwa wakaaji wote kwa kujitolea kwa hali na mali kuhakikisha ward yetu inapiga hatua kila siku.

Leo hii misingi muhimu tayari imewekwa. Kinachobakia sasa ni kuendelea na mipango madhubuti ya kujenga Ol-Moran yetu kuwa mahali bora zaidi pa kuishi, kufanya biashara na kulea familia.

Katika miaka 10 ijayo, maono yangu ni kuona Ol-Moran ikigeuka kuwa business hub kubwa ndani ya Laikipia County.

Tutaanza kwa kuboresha miundombinu. Barabara kadhaa zimejengwa lakini kiwango chake bado hakijafikia standards tunazohitaji. Tunahitaji roads zenye ubora wa juu ambazo zitadumu kwa miaka mingi bila kurudia projects zile zile kila mara.

Sambamba na hilo, lazima tufanyie kazi drainage systems zetu. Hii itasaidia kudhibiti mafuriko, kuzuia uharibifu wa barabara na kuboresha mazingira ya biashara mjini Ol-Moran.

Tunahitaji soko lenye mpangilio bora, street lighting ya kisasa, mazingira safi na security nzuri ili wafanyabiashara wetu waweze kufanya kazi kwa amani hata usiku.

Youth wetu wanahitaji opportunities, skills na support ya kuingia kwenye biashara, digital jobs na agriculture ya kisasa. Mama mboga, boda boda riders na small business owners wanahitaji mazingira rafiki ya kukuza uchumi wao.

Pia tutapigania maji safi na ya kutosha kwa wananchi wetu, kuboresha shule zetu na kuhakikisha huduma za afya zinapatikana kwa urahisi.

Ol-Moran ina potential kubwa sana. Kilichobaki ni leadership yenye vision, consistency na commitment ya kweli kwa wananchi.

Safari hii haihusu siasa pekee.
Ni kuhusu future ya Ol-Moran.
Na kwa pamoja, tunaweza kuijenga.

Fellow Kenyans, the high cost of fuel is hurting every family, every biashara, every farmer, and every youth trying to hustle. This cannot continue.

As leaders, we must act practically, not politically.

First, we must reduce unnecessary taxes and levies on fuel so that wananchi can breathe again.

Second, we must strengthen our economy and protect the Kenyan shilling because when the shilling falls, fuel prices rise immediately.

Third, Kenya must invest more in electric transport, geothermal energy, and reliable public transport so that we stop depending too much on imported oil.

We must also deal firmly with corruption and cartels in the petroleum sector. Kenyans should never pay extra because of greed and bad leadership.

The cost of fuel affects food prices, transport, school fees, and the entire economy. Lower fuel prices mean lower cost of living for every Kenyan.
