Celebrating 2024 International Youth Day!** 🌱✨
Agro-business youths from 41 counties came together to explore the power of digital technology in agroecology, agro enterprise, and agrotourism. Hosted by PELUM Kenya Association and Slow Food Kenya, the event offered a platform for the youth to showcase their diverse agroecology products, engage in insightful panel discussions, and uncover new value chains in agroforestry and agro enterprise.
Under the theme *“From Clicks to Progress, Digital Pathways for Youths,”* these young innovators are set to leverage technology to enhance their agro enterprises, share knowledge on agroecology, and boost farm productivity.
With 58 youth participants, including members from 32 PELUM Kenya Network Members, Psamy Participants Project, GSAILI Project, AWOLA Youth Mentee, and others, this event was a true celebration of youth-driven progress. Notable attendees also included representatives from the media, Nakuru County Youth Enterprise Fund, Baraka Agricultural College, and the Ministry of Agriculture & Livestock Development and Zee's Sweet Bloom(ZSB).
Together, these dynamic young leaders are paving the way for a sustainable, tech-savvy future in agriculture! 🌾🚀
