Oasis Healthcare Group Ltd is recruiting the following staff to fill up vacant positions in the Doctors Plaza scheduled for opening in May 2016.

PLAZA ADMINISTRATOR
Reports to: Director of Operations
Work Type: Contract Renewable
Start date: May 2016

Under general administrative direction, administers the activities of a number of hospital departments; consults with the Director of Operations on administrative and operational matters; assists in preparation of annual budgets; prepares periodic reports concerning operational activities and departments; and performs related duties as required.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Overseeing quality, improvement of process for efficient delivery of services in the hospital.
• Guiding in setting operational standards in the hospital.
• Overseeing of the hospital budget
• The Administrator is responsible to ensure that the Plaza runs efficiently and delivers quality patient care.
• Creating financial and business strategies to ensure fiscal viability of the health facility
• Participation in recruitment and retention of staff.
• Addressing doctors’ needs and ensuring patients’ quality medical care and well-being.
• Liaising with all Stakeholders and attending fund-raising, local health council meetings and professional industry conferences..
• Being involved in press relation, public community affairs and grants management.
• Formulate policies for Boards’ approval, and implement approved policies
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly progress reports.

Job Requirements
• Diploma in Administration, Human Resource or any other relevant field.
• A qualified Nurse or medical officer with requisite professional and experiential training will be an added advantage
• Prior experience in a similar position in a busy environment will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Person of high integrity and confidentiality. Should be highly organized and decisive. .
• Ability to work with strict deadlines.
• Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to manage a diverse range of professional relationships is essential.
• In addition, must be flexible, willing to perform assigned and additional duties and work irregular hours under unpredictable conditions.
• Possess high level of communication and dispute resolution skills.

LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST

Reports to: Chief of Laboratory/Diagnostics
Work Type: Contract Renewable
Start date: May 2016

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Perform in a timely and efficient manner all the clinical tests as requested by the clinicians in the management of diseases
• Ensure confidentiality of all patients’ results both in and out-sourced tests
• Produce and submit reports of all undertakings in the laboratory as and when requested.
• Provide reports on all notifiable diseases and report findings promptly
• Ensure that proper book keeping of laboratory records and inventory
• Ensure safety and proper handling of all laboratory essentials
• Maintain high standards of hygiene in the laboratory and its environs
• Proper management of patient samples for out-sourced tests
• Appropriate contribution on revenue growth in the area of performance.
Job Requirements
• Diploma or above in laboratory technology, with certification of Kenya medical Laboratory Technologists Board
• At least three (2) years similar working experience in a busy health care facility
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communication and good customer care skills.
PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGIST
Reports to: Chief of Pharmacy
Work Type: Contract Renewable

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide advice on matters pertaining pharmaceuticals and other complimentary remedies
• Dispense medications and provide appropriate instructions to all the clients
• Monitor drugs and other medical supplies levels and initiate the procurement process.
• Take inventory and track medication and supply orders
• Keep records of all drug stocks ordered, drugs issued to clients and stocks remaining.
• Arrange drugs in the required manner
• Establish and maintain good relationships with customers which includes clinics, doctors, and other institutions
• Monitor storage conditions i.e. expiry status and security of the pharmaceuticals
• Other duties as may be assigned by the Chief of pharmacy

Job Requirements:
• Must be registered and licensed to practice pharmaceutical technology by the relevant body
• Diploma holder from a recognized institution. Additional relevant training will be added advantage.
• Original Professional and academic certificates with up to date license
• Relevant working experience in a similar position an added advantage
• Good customer care skills

NURSE
Reports to: Deputy Director of Clinical Services
Work Type: Contract Renewable
Start Date: May 2016

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Initial vital sign monitoring and triaging of patients and clients for different service areas.
• Compiles medical records, files, charts, X-ray films, decoded laboratory results prior to physical examination for doctor’s use.
• As a duty Nurse, triage, coordinates work and ensure client flow during physical examination
• Assists the medical pratitioners during actual physical examinations.
• Administers prescriptions/recommendations
• Prepares, install or sterilizes medical equipment needed for medical examination.
• Report writing
• Taking part in product activation, active marketing and brand visibility.
• Handling irate and dissatisfied clientele and provision of feedback to various players.
• Daily weekly and monthly work planning

Job Requirement
A registered community health Nurse (KRCHN) with at least 2yrs experience in similar roles
Up to date practice requirement
Must be computer literate, proficient in basic applications

ACCOUNT CLERK
Reports to: Administrator
Work Type: Contract Renewable

Description
Handles the cash and credit transactions within the plaza
Strict adherence to underwriting rules for corporate clients
Prepares and forwards reports, financial reconciliations, banking.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Tracking of sales, cash collections and banking reports from the various sales departments
• Allocation of payments received from customers & reporting any un-cleared invoices monthly.
• Credit customers’ accounts reconciliation
• Factory & depot stock reconciliation & resolving variances thereof.
• Tracking of goods movement from factories to sales depots.
• Assist in petty cash reimbursement & reconciliation exercise for the various location
Job Requirement
• Must have minimum of CPA PART 1 or its equivalent
• At least 2 years’ similar work experience
• Must be proficient with SAP and Accounting packages
• Attention to detail
• Good organization and communication skills
