Seafarers Shipping, Inc. (SSI) visited John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University โ Molo (JBLFMU-Molo), Inc. to recruit BS Marine Engineering cadet recommendees who are ready for onboard training and service.
The delegation was led by Chief Engineer Rely Arquiola, Port Engineer, together with C/E Silvestre Gallego, Technical Manager and Ownerโs Representative, and Mr. Jeremie Noel Mendoza, Crewing Supervisor.
Sixteen (17) cadetsโ10 graduating students and 7 who completed Classroom Instruction (CCI)โwere shortlisted and underwent a thorough one-on-one interview. After the evaluation, five (5) graduating students were selected for the companyโs Placement Program, while the six (6) CCI completers were given the opportunity for final evaluation for early disembarkation.
The visit formed part of the companyโs recruitment activities, giving future marine engineer cadets the chance to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they gained from their training at JBLFMU-Molo.
