Today we visited all major stakeholders of the community to promote (Periodic Intensive Rapid immunization). An initiative to keep track of all non-immunized children below 5years. Immunization of girls between 8-13 who are not yet sexually active and sensitzation of vaccination.

The Ministry of Health is pushing the initiative of vaccination of all females at the age of 10-14years.

This is to curb at adult age.

To cover large numbers school and sub-county official are working hand in hand to vaccinate all females at the schools.

HPV vaccine are provided 2doses of 0.5ml. the second dose is given after 6months difference after 1st dose.

The young one is admitted due to severe Pneumonia which is common among children below 5years. At this point his IV strip was blocked therefore his medication were administered IM.
