👀 Ever wondered what's actually happening when a patient is put on oxygen? It's not as simple as "turn it on."

Oxygen therapy is among the most frequently administered interventions across clinical settings yet its safe delivery depends on correctly understanding four key components:
⚕️ Cylinder — stores compressed medical oxygen, color-coded green per safety standards
⚕️ Pressure gauge — monitors remaining supply (psi); switch cylinders at ~500 psi
⚕️ Flow meter — sets delivery rate (L/min), calibrated to the prescribed device and patient need
⚕️ Humidifier bottle — adds moisture to prevent airway drying, particularly at flow rates above 4 L/min.
Competency with this equipment is foundational for both from routine ward care to emergency response.

Did you know PCOS and endometriosis are different conditions, even though some symptoms may overlap?

🩷 – A hormonal condition that may cause irregular periods, acne, excess hair growth, weight changes, and difficulty ovulating.

💜 – Tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, often causing painful periods, pelvic pain, heavy bleeding, and fertility challenges.

🔍 Key difference: PCOS mainly affects hormones and ovulation, while endometriosis is associated with abnormal tissue growth and pelvic pain.
