✨ We began the year with faith, grace, and purpose,what a journey it has been! ✨

A name that wasn’t born in a boardroom but in a small, humble salon has grown into a movement. A movement that continues to pour hope, healing, and purpose into women’s lives especially in Kibera and Mathare.
LESO.

Last night, as we wrapped up the year with the Leso Dinner with the Bold and the Beautiful, we celebrated the beauty of showing up for ourselves and for each other through this network:

Today, as the world marks World Mental Health Day (10th October), we pause to reflect — because at The Leso Initiative, every day is about checking in, slowing down, and choosing you. 💚

For the whole of 2025, we’ve walked beside women and young mothers through 11 intentional initiatives, all centered on mental wellness, safety, and emotional grounding.
From creating safe spaces to mapping support systems, it’s been a journey of healing, courage, and rediscovery. ✨

As we close the year, it’s time to take that mental break, celebrate your strength, and cheer yourself on at our end-of-year gathering —

This past Saturday, 16th August was nothing short of amazing! 💃✨
We showed up, danced it out, laughed, glowed, and reminded ourselves that self-care is intentional and we do it in style, warmth, and unapologetic greatness.

With Coach Lydia and Bravy leading the way, the energy was 🔥 and the turnout of women from our community was truly inspiring. 🧣💪

at Leso, we’re joining hands with Passion to Share Foundation for a special celebration of you because you deserve it. 💚

👑 Today, 16 of our amazing women are being treated like queens — the queens they truly are — thanks to this beautiful partnership!

But beyond today, we encourage every woman to take a step for herself.
Personal self-care is important. Whether big or small, do something this month that pours back into you.

Because self-care isn’t selfish — it’s your way of choosing clarity, calm, and confidence.
