When Mhe. Sankok first visited the facility back in 2024, Mulele was a facility struggling with limited resources and facing the many challenges that come with serving a growing community. The transformation we celebrate today was still a distant aspiration.
Fast-forward to 2026, and Mulele has undergone a remarkable transformation. What was once a struggling facility has grown into Mulele Level 3 Hospital, with improved infrastructure, expanded services and renewed hope for the community.
Throughout this journey, the support, encouragement and goodwill of friends and partners have mattered. Hon. David Ole Sankok has remained among those who believed in the potential of Mulele and the importance of investing in healthcare that directly serves ordinary citizens.
Despite his busy schedule and numerous responsibilities, Mhe. Sankok spared time to attend the launch of Mulele Level 3 Hospital. His presence was more than just an appearance at an event; it was a demonstration of friendship and solidarity with the people of Mulele.
For us, his journey with Mulele tells a simple but powerful story: a true friend does not only celebrate the finished product—they remember where the journey began.
