Meet Emily ✨

From Glasgow, Scotland, Emily discovered yoga in 2019 when she stepped into her first class and immediately connected with the practice as a form of moving meditation.
Inspired by the impact of yoga, she completed her 200-hour RYT Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Union in Indonesia.
Emily’s classes offer a welcoming space to slow down, reconnect, and cultivate awareness of both body and mind. She encourages students to tune into themselves, find stillness within, and leave feeling grounded.
Whether you’re new to yoga or deepening your practice, Emily looks forward to sharing the journey with you ✨

🌕 What is Yoga for You?

For many, yoga begins on the mat.
But yoga is what remains when you step off it.

Yoga is not the shape of a posture. It is the shape of awareness.
It is the space between two thoughts. The courage to sit with discomfort instead of running from it. The practice of returning to the present moment.

In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna reminds us:
”Yoga is equanimity.”

The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali describe yoga as:
”The stilling of the fluctuations of the mind.”
And perhaps that is why we keep coming back—to remember that beneath the noise, beneath the stories, beneath the endless striving, there is a deeper self that has never been lost.

The Upanishads speak of the truth that the seeker and the sought are one.
What if yoga is not about finding yourself?
What if it is about remembering who you have always been?

Yoga asks YOU:

Savasana is often considered the most important asana because it is the moment where the entire practice is absorbed physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. While other poses build strength, flexibility, balance, and discipline, Savasana teaches surrender — the rare ability to be completely still, conscious, and free from effort. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system, lowers cortisol, regulates the heart and breath, relaxes muscular and fascial tension, and allows the body to shift from stress into deep recovery and healing. Savasana creates a safe space where suppressed emotions, exhaustion, and inner tension can finally release, reminding us that rest is not weakness but restoration. Spiritually Savasana symbolizes the death of the ego — letting go of control, performance, identity, and attachment — so that awareness itself can emerge in silence. It looks like the simplest pose, yet remaining awake while completely surrendering the body, mind, and nervous system is one of the deepest practices in yoga. That is why Savasana is not just the end of practice but the true purpose of it.

In our space, we try to meet you exactly where you are whether you’re here to build strength, find stillness, or simply take a deep breath. More than just a class, we try to build a community. A place where familiar faces turn into friends, where progress is celebrated in all its forms, and where you’re always supported on your journey.

🕉️Hatha Yoga: Classical form of practice that harmonizes the body, mind, and spirit by balancing active and receptive energies. Through mindful postures, controlled breathing, and meditation, it cultivates inner awareness, energy flow, and calm centeredness. Classes are typically moderate in pace, with poses held for several breaths, emphasizing alignment, stability, and mindful movement.

✨ Gentle Yoga: A nurturing, low-impact practice using slow movements, supported postures, and longer holds to promote flexibility, relaxation, and safe alignment. Perfect for beginners, elders, and those with physical limitations.

🌙 Yin Yoga: A slow, introspective practice targeting deep connective tissues and fascia. Extended holds cultivate stillness, joint mobility, and stress relief, suitable for beginners, elders, and those recovering from injuries.

✨ Vinyasa yoga : flowing, breath-led practice where movement becomes a moving meditation. It emphasizes presence, rhythm, and the connection between breath, body, and awareness, often creating a sense of energy and inner focus.
