My voice is real.
My words are real.
My stories are real.
My heart is real.

But social media does not need unrestricted access to every part of me.

In a world that constantly asks women to be visible, polished, available, and always on…

I’ve chosen a different boundary.

My mission is not to perform for an algorithm or pose for the perfect shot.

My mission is to help women come home to themselves.

To trust their own intuition.
To honor their energy.
To stop handing themselves over to what the world expects.

So yes, I’ll share my voice.

I’ll share my wisdom.
My reflections.
My truth.
My lived experience.

But my image?

That’s sacred and belongs to me.

And I think there’s something powerful about that.

Social media has become a space where women are watched, judged, measured, compared, or expected to explain themselves.

But you are allowed to decide what access people get to you.

Online.
In your work.
In your relationships.
In your life.

A boundary does not mean you’re hiding.

Sometimes it means you are finally honoring what feels true.

So you’ll find my voice online, but I’m also excited to take you on a visual journey. One that’s soulful, symbolic, imaginative, and deeply felt.

AI lets me create images that carry the energy of what I’m here to share: beauty, truth, healing, longing, freedom, and becoming.

It gives me a way to make this space not just something you read, but something you experience.

And to all of you beautiful women reading this…

Protect what feels sacred.

June feels like a month of sacred repair.
Repair.
The quiet kind.
The honest kind.

The kind that begins when a woman finally says:
I can’t keep carrying what has been left untended.

And I don’t hear that as shame.
I hear it as an invitation.

To look gently at what has been neglected.
The pattern you keep repeating.
The boundary you keep postponing.
The truth your body has been whispering.
The old family story you no longer want to live from.
The clutter in your home, your energy, your schedule, your mind.

Not because you are off track.
Because you are ready to return to harmony.

One honest choice at a time.
One cleared space.
One clean conversation.
One slower breath.
One less performance.
One moment of choosing what is true instead of what is familiar.

That is the energy of June.
Sacred repair.
Restoring trust with your body.
Cleaning up what has become heavy.
Releasing what has passed its season.
Returning to the natural order inside yourself.

So this month, ask:
What needs my loving attention now?

Not everything.
Not the whole life.
Just the place that has been quietly asking to be tended.

Maybe it’s your rest.
Maybe it’s your health.
Maybe it’s your relationship with your body.
Maybe it’s your home.
Maybe it’s the way you speak to yourself.
Maybe it’s the part of you that has been waiting for permission to stop performing.

June is not asking you to rush.
It is asking you to restore.
To soften what has become hardened.
To clear what has become stale.
To repair what still matters.
And to remember that nothing real is restored through force.

It is restored through presence.
Through devotion.
Through one conscious act of care after another.

June intention:
I tend to what has been left untended.
I release what is no longer mine to carry.
I restore harmony in my body, my energy, and my life.
I return to what is true.

Repair gently. Return fully.

Feeling scattered doesn’t mean you’re derailed or off track.
It means you’re carrying more sh*t than your body can quietly hold.

Work.
Kids.
Relationships.
Hormones.
Life.
The invisible things no one sees you managing.

And when your system feels overloaded, it may reach for old patterns.

Urgency
Rush. Fix. React. Answer right now.

Approval
Please. Over-explain. Over-give. Keep everyone comfortable.

Avoidance
Freeze. Scroll. Shut down. Go quiet.

These patterns are not proof that you’re doing anything wrong.

They are signals.

Your body may be asking for a return.

Not a full life overhaul.

Just one moment of safety inside yourself.

Start here.

The 2-Minute Self-Led Reset

Place one hand on your chest.

Say quietly:

“I’m here.”

Take three slow breaths.

Inhale through your nose.
Exhale a little longer than you inhale.

Then ask:

What do I need next?

Not forever.
Not the whole plan.
Just next.

Water.
Food.
A pause.
Space.
Support.
A boundary.
A step outside.

Then take one small action that matches the answer.

One glass of water.
One “let me get back to you.”
One honest no.
One hand on your heart before you respond.

Because self-leadership is not about being calm all the time. Trust me, that's no fun. 😜

It is the practice of returning to yourself.

Again and again.

Until your body starts to trust that you are listening.

So tell me, which one shows up most for you lately?

A) Urgency
B) Approval
C) Avoidance

This is a small piece of what we practice inside my Self-Led Foundational Practice Series — for women who are ready to stop performing their lives and start living them.

Comment Self-Led, and I’ll send you the direct link to the full series on Insight Timer.

Come home to yourself, one breath at a time.

If your mind has been running laps lately…
replaying conversations, planning for every possible outcome, trying to think your way into safety.

Pause here for a second.

A calm mind is not something you earn after life gets easier.

It’s something you practice in the middle of real life.

Before the conversation.
After the text.
In the moment when everything you want to do is react.

Because when you’re not grounded, everything can feel urgent.

Everything can feel personal.

Everything can feel like it needs an answer right now.

But calm gives you space.

Not because you stopped caring.

Because you stopped handing your power over to the chaos.

Calm helps you hear yourself again.

It gives you that small, sacred pause between what happened and how you choose to respond.

And that pause?

That is where your self-leadership lives.

Try this today. Just 90 seconds.

1. Unclench your body.
Drop your shoulders.
Soften your jaw.
Let your tongue rest.
Notice where you’ve been holding the day.

2. Breathe back into yourself.
Inhale through your nose for 4.
Exhale through your mouth for 6.
Do this 5 times.

No performance.
Just return.

3. Ask one grounded question:
“What is the next true thing?”

Not the whole plan.
Not the perfect answer.
Just the next true thing.

4. Take one small action from calm.
Send the edited text that you waited to send.
Drink the water.
Set the boundary.
Step away for five minutes.
Pause before you respond.

The calmer you get, the clearer you get.

And clarity is where your power comes back online.

Finish this sentence:

When I relax, I remember ______.

And if you want me beside you, walking you through this practice, you can join me on Insight Timer here:

I’ll meet you there.

We don’t wait for permission.
We walk like we already belong.

There is something you can do to start grounding yourself back to calm.

Because this image?
This is what you are craving.
Space. Breath. Permission. Freedom.

And right now, your nervous system is dysregulated.
This is normal.
We all get dysregulated from time to time.
And it's caused by prolonged stress, past trauma, hormonal fluctuations, or maybe underlying physical health issues.

The great news...
You can regulate yourself back to normal.

So consider this a love letter… and an invitation:
Come back to you.
You don't need hours of one-on-one therapy sessions.

This work is done in small, doable 15-25 minute talks. Just you and me. One exhale at a time.
One nervous-system-friendly moment of safety at a time.

Welcome to The Return to Your Grounded Power, where you’ll learn what it actually means to be self-led. Not perfect, not always calm, because that’s not fun! But a place where you are able to return to yourself when life pulls you outward, and you feel like walking out.

Together, we’ll name the three most common ways we lose our center: urgency, approval, and avoidance, and you’ll practice a simple 2-minute reset you can use in real time… before you respond, over-explain, people-please, or spiral.

You’ll leave with a grounded definition of self, a practice that builds inner safety, and one small daily integration that helps you start living from your truth instead of your environment.

So if you’ve been feeling reactive or disconnected…
This is your way back.
To your breath returning.
To you, remembering… I am still here.

If this is you, comment RETURN, and I’ll send you the direct link to start this 14-minute coaching activation.

Something big happened. An invitation for women to calm their minds and bodies, for free.🤍

I’ve been a fan of Insight Timer for over a decade. I use it a lot, and I have recommended this app to family, friends, and clients over the years.

For the past several months, I have found myself using it daily. It has become my morning ritual for my husband and I.

Lately, I was motivated to submit my work and see what happens.

I follow chats on Reddit and heard that the review and approval process can be notoriously strict and time-consuming so I waited patiently after submitting a few of my guided meditations and coaching activation talks. It took a couple of weeks, but I am thrilled to say that I am now officially published on Insight Timer!

Yesterday, I launched a new Self-Led series. Four free standalone tracks to ground yourself and your nervous system. The first three are live right now, and I'm in the process of recording the fourth. Here's a peek at what's available for you now:

✦ Self-Led: The Return to Your Grounded Power
✦ The Regulated Woman Is Unstoppable
✦ Less Performing, More Living

Each one is 15-25 minutes.
Each one gives you a real tool you can use in your real life.
Each one was made for the woman who is capable and strong, but quietly exhausted from holding her s**t together.

If that's you, this coaching series is for you.

Search Janine Rotter on Insight Timer and follow my profile so you don't miss what's coming next, or simply click here: https://insighttimer.com/InTheMoment

I would love your follow.

And if something in these tracks lands for you, please leave a review. It's how the algorithm works, and it's how more women will find this work. 🤍

Less performing. More living. Less pleasing. Always more truth.

What if love isn’t something that happens to you, but something you decide to be in?

We’re taught to love things.
His laugh.
Her kindness.
The way someone makes you feel.
And those things are real.

But what if it’s more than that?

What if love is actually a state you can choose to live in, regardless of what’s in front of you?

Because I’ve noticed something.

When I’m truly at home in myself, when I’m not performing, not managing everything or everybody, not trying to hold it all perfectly together… I love more easily.

The sunrise.
The stranger at the store.
The hard conversations.
Even the parts of my life that aren’t finished yet…

I find myself not overthinking with fear, but rather with positivity and kindness.

Love isn’t out there.

It starts within.
The moment you decide you are worthy of your own love.

Being present for it.
It’s all around you.
You just have to sit and notice it.

That’s where it comes from.
That’s where it always comes from.

Janine 🤍
