Slow-Roasted Lamb Shoulder (Mandi) 🐑

At Alibaba Treasure we've been serving halal Mediterranean and Arabic food in Daejeon since 2007, and this is the dish we're proudest of.

The lamb shoulder simmers for 3–4 hours with rosemary, thyme, onion, tomato and carrot, so the meat comes apart with a fork. We serve it with fragrant saffron rice, sautéed broccoli, potato and carrot, and crinkle-cut fries on the side. It's made for sharing — bring the family or the whole study group.

Please note: whole lamb shoulder requires at least one day's advance order, so give us a call before you come.

Lamb Steak: one of our signatures.

We marinate it simply, the way it should be: rosemary, thyme, cracked black pepper and sea salt. Nothing to hide behind. Then it goes on the grill and comes out juicy, smoky and tender.

It arrives with saffron rice, crinkle-cut fries and a crisp garden salad, a full plate, the way we'd serve it at our own table.
