‘오소록’은 제주 방언으로 ‘숨겨진 아늑한곳’ 이라는 뜻입니다.
오소록 카페는 이기철과 Ralph Traviati 두사람이 공동으로 운영하는 곳으로 이기철씨가 런던(EAST END)에서 운영하는 허운데기 카페를 모델로 에스프레소 바와 더불어 간단하면서도 신선한 재료를 사용하여 유럽식 요리를 제공하는 전형적인 부틱 카페를 표방합니다.
커피는 진하면서도 부드러움을 유지하기 위해서 런던의 기준에 맞춰 런던에서 사용하는 볶은 커피콩을 비행기로 직접 공급받고 있습니다.
음식은 유럽스타일로, 신선함과 지역특성에 맞추기 위하여 지역에서 생산되는 신선한 재료를 사용, 간단하면서도 재료의 맛을 잃지 않도록 노력할 것 입니다.

“Osorok” is a ward from the dialect of JeJuDo. The con

cept is taken from HURWUNDEKI Café which is located in London’s east end and run by Ki Chul Lee, it is popular as an espresso bar and also for its simply cooked food and cakes. In London it is a well known boutique café. “Osorok” will serve the same style of coffee that HURWUNDEKI serves, with a full, smooth flavor. The coffee beans will be flown in every week to make sure the coffee is always fresh. The food, using only local ingredients, will be western style, simple, fresh and healthy.
