GC Labs recently announced that it held the closing ceremony of the '2022 Dr LEE Jong-wook Fellowship Program Training Course for Infectious Disease Specialists (TB)' entrusted by the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH) on November 9th, 2022.

✅GC labs provided three months Training Course for Infectious Disease Specialists dedicated to developing countries, following last year's activities.

✅With the support from KOFIH, the lab was able to train Ethiopian and Tanzanian trainees on its TB diagnostics and management know-how.

🌏 As the leading diagnostic institution of Korea, GC Labs will continue to contribute to developing the capacity of health care personnel in partner countries

🎉GC Labs obtains certification of CDC standardization programs!

The acquisition of global standardization certification proves that GC Lab’s test accuracy and reliability are very high and leads to strengthen its competitiveness.

✍️The program has a high level of difficulty for assessment procedures, where participants measure the true value of samples in multiple concentrations for a year and report the results, which would be assessed against the strict criterion.

✍️To be certified, participants should meet each performance criterion of ± 6.4 percent mean bias when compared to the true value provided by for testosterone and of ± 5.0 percent mean bias with overall imprecision under 10 percent when compared to the true value provided by CDC for vitamin D during four consecutive quarters.
