Congratulations Professor Anoma Chandrasekera for getting enlisted among the top 2% of the researchers in the world published by Stanford University, USA.
Prof. Anoma, the brain behind our , is the Professor of Food Science & Human Nutrition at Department of Applied Nutrition, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka. She holds a PhD from Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. Professor examined the extraction, distribution, characterization and bioactivities of phenolics in millet grains. Her research interests focus on biochemistry and nutritional aspects of foods, nutritional risk factors in non communicable diseases and planning of food & nutritional programs. She also explores natural antioxidants/phytochemicals & bioactivities, functional foods, herbal beverages and processing effects.
It's a great pride for us to have her expertise at Panwila to craft the rural ecstasies with utmost care.
