Lenkų fondas “Pies i Stas”, daugybę metų organizuojantis edukacijas apie saugų elgesį su šunimi, apie tokias interakcijas su gyvūnais medicinos įstaigose pasisako principingai ir garsiai (automatinis vertimas iš lenkų anglų k.):
We will raise our voice on this topic as an organization, one of the most important in Poland, working for more than 15 years on the subject of Prevention of Bites by Dogs and Dog Therapy.
Photorelation from these classes shows that the class leaders and hospital staff have no green idea about safety in their relationship with dogs, they have no knowledge about the well-being and comfort of a dog during the classes, children have no reason to be surprised and that is the most difficult.
Suggesting children during the class to ABUSE a DOG by crossing its bodily boundaries, holding them EXPOSING them to direct and indirect danger in contact with dogs.
Such practices SHOULD be abandoned, abandon them because not only do they violate the dog and objectify it but they are simply DANGEROUS! A child wanting to repeat "such an exercise with another dog" is in danger. That's why we've focused on educating about what a dog is for years, building a correct relationship based on safety and respecting a dog's boundaries, and we've also focused on teaching and modeling correct, safe attitudes.
I appeal to the University and the leader himself to change their jobs and attitudes!
Dogo/Kynoterapeuto let's not scroll through relationships like this indifferently, let's react!
