Our Medic Batch (II) students successfully completed the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), demonstrating their knowledge, clinical skills, and professional competency in the following areas:

✅ History Taking and Physical Examination
✅ Diagnostic and Treatment Examination
✅ Antenatal Care Examination
✅ Basic Surgical Procedures Examination

Promoting Regularly VHW Training in Taw Oo District, KDHW

Strengthening Village Health Systems
- Promoting VHW training helps build essential health capacity.
- Trained VHWs are able to deliver basic primary health services directly to the community, consistent, and locally accessible healthcare in remote villages.

Community Engagement and Ownership
- VHW training fosters active participation from community health strengthening
- Empowers local people to take responsibility for their own health and community-led health system.

Bottom-Up Health System Strengthening
- A bottom-up approach to health development to prioritize local health needs
- Encourages locally driven health planning and ensures that services are responsive to real, on-the-ground issues.

Regular Monitoring of Disease and Health Issues
- Trained VHWs regularly monitor and report on common illnesses and outbreaks within their villages.
- Early disease detection, supports a rapid response, and strengthens referral mechanisms to higher levels of care.

Health Awareness, Prevention, and Protection

- VHWs serve as a vital link between the village and the village tract health centers.
- Efficient referral pathways, proper follow-up, and improved coordination of health resources and services.
