When your husband is turning 62, you don’t just buy him a birthday cake… apparently you take him to Europe for 36 days! 😂❤️

🌍 36 days • 5 countries • 14 ports • 2 cruises

And the timing couldn’t be more perfect because 62 means…

SOCIAL SECURITY, BABY! 😂💰🎂

So we’re celebrating this milestone the way we love best — together, exploring someplace new. ❤️

This trip has been in the works for more than a year, and it’s hard to believe we’re finally down to SINGLE DIGITS tomorrow!

Here we go…

I’ve been fortunate enough to travel all over —to see incredible places, experience different cultures, and meet some amazing people along the way.

But no matter how far I go, there’s still nothing quite like coming home. ❤️

There’s something special about small-town America. Familiar faces. Neighbors catching up. Kids running from ride to ride. Livestock barns, local businesses, 4-H projects and the smell of fair food in the air!

The county fair may not be the most exotic destination I’ve ever visited, but it’s a reminder that sometimes the best places aren’t the ones farthest from home.

Travel gives you perspective. Coming home reminds you what matters.

And after seeing a whole lot of places, I can still say: there’s nothing quite like a summer night at the county fair in small-town America. 🇺🇸🎡

So grateful for a smooth trip back to Michigan! 🚗☀️

Beautiful weather, a scenic drive, and an office view that was hard to beat. 😂

The only downsides? Diesel prices... and an unexpected visit from a security guard at the Jim Beam Distillery. 😅 Apparently we were on their property and didn't realize it. Honest mistake—we promise! 🤣

Got home safe last week grateful for another great adventure, and already looking forward to the next one.

Always love returning to our second home. ❤️

This past week has been full of special moments—from a surprise proposal in St. Augustine 💍 to work in Fort Myers, to a baby reveal party in Jacksonville, and quality time with family on the river. Life is good.

Key West: Our Final Port of Call ⚓️🌴

So much to see, so little time! We tried to squeeze it all in—the fort, the beach, the legendary cemetery, the Little White House, the Hemingway House—but the clock definitely won out.

It’s official: we’ll have to come back!
