Heart disease remains one of the most overlooked health threats affecting women worldwide.
In hospitality environments, remote islands, and busy workplaces, early recognition and preventive care become even more important.
What researchers are especially concerned about is that women are:
● More likely to have “atypical” symptoms
● More likely to experience delayed diagnosis
● Sometimes undertreated compared to men
● More likely to have worse outcomes after certain cardiac events
As healthcare providers, we must continue strengthening education, prevention, and access to timely care for women everywhere.
