What are Malawian Indigenous species that we can eat and drink? Here is a pamphlet:

*Indigenous foods in Malawi* This flyer highlights indigenous, native Malawian foods by Malawian food groups, as well as listing foreign species. There are ~600 foods, with ~500 of those indigenous.

*What Does a One Health approach bring to food systems policy and practice?* Evidence from Malawi 🇲🇼 & Zambia 🇿🇲

“Few actors in the food system explicitly adopt One Health although many work in its spirit, overlapping with related concepts such as permaculture, organic agriculture, syntropic agriculture, and agroecology.

This has implications for policy and practice as it raises questions about the need for another new international concept relative to existing use of similar holistic and systems-based approaches.”

After 6 years of love + nurturing, our black pepper harvested from our organic permaculture gardens is ready! And it’s spicy + delicious.

We are adding it to our pepper grinders now, to sprinkle on top of tonight’s homemade fettuccini pasta dinner 🍽️
