A mother.
A baby.
A journey for care.
A mother arrived at Uchembere Wabwino Maternity Clinic carrying the most precious thing in her life — her child.
She had travelled a long distance just to make sure her baby receives the care every child deserves.
At our clinic, moments like this happen every day.
A community health worker gently weighs the baby.
Growth is carefully recorded.
Life-saving immunizations are given.
And a mother leaves with reassurance that her child is safe and healthy.
For many families in our community, this is not just a clinic visit.
It is hope.
It is protection.
It is a healthier future for their child.
Our dedicated community health workers work tirelessly to support mothers and babies, ensuring children are protected from preventable diseases and families receive the care they need.
Through our child health services, we provide an average of 300 immunizations every month, helping protect hundreds of children in our community.
But the need continues to grow.
More mothers arrive at our clinic every week seeking safe and reliable care for their children.
With stronger partnerships and support, we can reach even more mothers and babies who depend on these essential services.
Because when a mother finds safe care for her child, an entire family’s future becomes stronger.
