Every being on our planet can only thrive in a balanced state. Excess or lack of something can cause disregulation and instability. Balance is the alchemy to the perfect harmony in body, mind and spirit.
Creating a balanced life means making time for the things you have to do, as well as the things you want to do. You have the power to create harmony between your responsibilities and finding time daily to do things that bring you pleasure, personal fulfillment, and rejuvenation.
Here's 7 simple ways to create balance:
1.Pay attention to your health
Your health really does affect the quality of your live and your work. Hydrate yourself, eat well, exercise well, sleep well.
2. Set Priorities
Focus on what matters. Say no to everything that is either not essential or doesn’t add something valuable to your life.
3. Plan Tasks
If you tend to be very spontaneous and live -in-the-moment- type of person, I feel you so much! One of my biggest challenges has been to keep up with schedules. Trust me , planning your daily, weekly or monthly tasks will help you stay accountable.
4. Take breaks at work
If you have a long working schedule, short breaks throughout your day is a key to maintain balance physically and mentally.
5. Think positively
Your thoughts can shape how you perceive each day or situation. Maintain a positive mindset to life and what comes across your path.
6.Pamper yourself
Self-care can do wonders! Take a long bubble bath, schedule a spa visit, go shopping for fun or eat at your favorite restaurant.
7. Have fun!
Do something fun everyday, don't just wait for the weekend. Do fun activities, play, dance, laugh, whatever makes you happy,. Simply enjoy life itself!
