Today marks my second visit to the orphanage, and it feels even more special to share another yoga session with these wonderful children.
Through fun animal poses like Mountain Pose, Snake, and Butterfly,frog pose the children learned to move, stretch, and express themselves with confidence. 🦁🐍🦋
Yoga helps improve flexibility, focus, and emotional well-being while making learning fun and engaging. 🌟
Their smiles, laughter, and enthusiasm made this session truly special. 😊
Grateful for this beautiful experience and looking forward to sharing more yoga with these amazing children. 🙏❤️

🧘 Chakki Chalasana – Steps

1. Sit comfortably Sit on the floor with legs stretched forward in front of you. Keep your spine straight.

2. Open legs Spread your legs slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.

3. Interlock fingers Bring your hands together in front of your chest and interlock your fingers.

4. Start the “churning” motion Inhale and stretch your hands forward.

Now begin moving your upper body in a big circular motion, like grinding a stone mill:
Go forward → right → back → left → forward

5. Keep legs stable Your hips and legs should stay steady. Only your upper body moves.

6. Breathe naturally Inhale when moving forward/up, exhale when going backward/down.

7. Repeat both directions Do 5–10 rounds clockwise, then 5–10 rounds anti-clockwise.

8. Relax Come back to center, stretch your legs, and relax your back.

🧘‍♀️ Sitting Side Twist

Steps:
1.Sit straight with your legs crossed (or stretched forward). 2.Keep your back upright.
Inhale deeply and lengthen your spine.
3.Exhale and slowly twist your upper body to one side.
4.Place one hand behind you for support and the other on your opposite knee.
5.Keep your spine straight—don’t slouch.
6.Hold the position for about 20–30 seconds while breathing normally.
7.Gently come back to center.
Repeat the same on the other side.

How to do Surya Mudra?

1.Sit comfortably (cross-legged on the floor or on a chair with a straight spine).
2.Place your hands on your knees with palms facing upward.
3.Bend your ring finger so its tip touches the base of your thumb.
4.Gently press the ring finger down with your thumb.
5.Keep the other fingers (index, middle, little) straight and relaxed.
6.Close your eyes and breathe normally.

Duration :
-Practice for 15–30 minutes daily.
-You can do it in 2–3 sessions if needed.
-Best time: morning on an empty stomach.
