Kenko’s most famous treatment in town, an extraordinary treatment called “Fish Spa therapy” where thousands of ‘Dr Fish’ will surround your feet and nibble away scaly dead skin from the feet. With the calming environment & strict hygiene practices that Kenko focuses on, we are applying biological & mechanical Fish Spa System in all our outlets to serve our customers better. The Water sterilization filter system in Kenko consists of:
• Ozone filter which helps to break all organic waste – e.g.; urea, sweat, and blood to pure water.
• Gravel or sand filter is used to remove big particles like leftover fish food and faeces before producing clean water.
• Ultra-violet sterilisation is used to kill all microorganism and algae (Legiona sp., Pseudomonas sp, Mycobacterium)
The water is always maintained at neutral pH (pH7) & at the average temperature of 30°C for the comfort of both fishes & human. Besides Fish Spa therapy, Kenko also offers:
1. Aroma Foot Therapy
3. Foot, Hand & Shoulder Massage
4. Body Reflexology Massage
5. Acupressure Head Therapy
6. Foot Exfoliation Therapy
7. Shoulder Massage
8. Ear Candling.......and more.........
Kenko reflexology technique was developed by Kenko Founder, Dr Jimi Tan, a combination of the American Caterpillar Walk Technique (derived from Ingham Method) and Chinese Acupressure. This unique technique requires no oil application during the treatment and only powder is used to ease the movement of the thumb during the caterpillar walk. Unlike other techniques, we only use our thumbs and fingers and not our knuckles nor sticks.
