Baby not p**ping for days? 😣 It might be constipation — but frequency alone isn’t the only sign.
Hard stools, straining, crying during bowel movements, or small pellet-like p**p are clues to look out for.

Gentle tummy massage, adequate fluids (for older babies), and reviewing feeding can help — but always check with your doctor if you’re unsure. 💛

Because a comfortable baby = a happy baby.

“Why is my baby spitting up so much?” 🍼

Spitting up (reflux) is very common in babies — especially in the first 6 months. This happens because the muscle between the food pipe and stomach is still immature, so milk can easily flow back up.

If your baby:
✔ Spits up small amounts
✔ Is not distressed
✔ Feeds well
✔ Is gaining weight normally

👉 This is usually normal and improves as they grow (often better once they can sit and start solids).

However, vomiting is different from simple spit-up. Please seek medical attention if your baby has:
⚠ Forceful/projectile vomiting
⚠ Green (bilious) or bloody vomit
⚠ Fever or lethargy
⚠ Signs of dehydration (less urine, dry mouth, no tears)
⚠ Poor weight gain or feeding difficulties

A helpful tip:
• Feed smaller amounts more frequently
• Burp during and after feeds
• Keep baby upright for 20–30 minutes after feeding

Most of the time, it’s more stressful for parents than it is for baby. But always trust your instincts — if something feels off, get it checked.

Because reassurance is important… but so is knowing the red flags 💛

Let’s talk about baby p**p 💩
Because once you have a baby, you’ll realise p**p becomes part of daily conversation 😅

The colour, texture, and frequency of your baby’s p**p can change depending on age, feeding (breastmilk vs formula), and even minor illnesses. From mustard-yellow and seedy to green or brown—most of the time, these changes are completely normal.

What matters most is how your baby is overall: are they feeding well, active, and comfortable? A happy baby with ‘weird-looking’ p**p is usually just… a normal baby.

That said, some p**p changes are worth checking—like blood, black stools, or persistent pale/white p**p. When in doubt, trust your instincts and ask a healthcare professional.

Because in baby world, no question about p**p is ever too much 💛

Early feeding cues = happier feeds 💛 Look for rooting, lip smacking, and hand-to-mouth movements. Crying is a late sign of hunger. Responding early helps babies feed better and feel more secure.

Beware for the usage of Metoclopramide in children…

Anak mata juling ke atas & leher teleng lepas makan ubat muntah? Jangan panik, anak anda bukan kena rasuk!

Bayangkan, anak demam dan muntah-muntah. Anda bawa ke klinik, dapat ubat tahan muntah (pil putih kecil).

Lepas 2 jam makan, tiba-tiba anak jadi pelik.
Mata dia terpusing naik ke atas (nampak mata putih je), leher dia keras teleng ke tepi, dan mulut dia terkunci.
Anak sedar dan menangis takut, tapi dia tak boleh kawal badan dia.

Mesti ramai mak ayah terus fikir: "Habislah, anak aku kena sampuk ni!"

Tarik nafas, dan tenang.
Ini adalah kesan sampingan ubat yang dipanggil EXTRA-PYRAMIDAL SIDE EFFECTS (EPSE).

Puncanya?
Ubat Tahan Muntah jenis METOCLOPRAMIDE.
Walaupun ubat ni berkesan, otak kanak-kanak dan remaja sangat sensitif pada ubat ni. Dos sikit pun boleh buat sistem saraf mereka 'jammed'.

Tanda-tanda EPSE:
1. Oculogyric Crisis: Mata terpaku pandang atas/siling.
2. Torticollis: Leher keras dan memusing ke tepi.
3. Trismus: Rahang terkunci ketat.
4. Akathisia: Rasa gelisah merenyam, tak boleh duduk diam.

Apa nak buat?
JANGAN bagi lagi ubat tu. Terus bawa ke HOSPITAL (Kecemasan).
Doktor akan bagi ubat "penawar" (biasanya suntikan Benztropine atau ubat antihistamin tertentu).
Dalam masa 15 minit, mata anak akan turun balik dan leher akan lembut semula macam biasa. Magic!

Kalau anak dapat ubat muntah (nama: Metoclopramide/Maxolon), pantau mereka.
Kalau jadi macam ni, ia bukan hantu. Ia kimia.
Jangan buang masa panggil bomoh, lari ke hospital terus!
