SEEDs 30-Hour Famine DIY Camp Penang SEEDs 30-Hour Famine is one of the DIY-Camp in Penang formed in 2013 and is part of the 30-Hour Famine global movement against hunger and poverty.

SEEDs (previously known as 30-Hour Famine Warriors Penang) was founded in 2013. It all began with a group of youths participation in 30-Hour Famine as campers and volunteers in various 30-Hour Famine camps and countdowns organized yearly. Through years of get-together, we finally form a TEAM and organized our very own 30-Hour Famine DIY-Camp in year 2013. We know that we can do more than just a ca

mper or volunteer or collecting funds, we want to reach out to more people. The new camp name "SEEDs" was selected to represent us growing from DIY Campers and Volunteers to organizing this DIY Camp; representing us like small seeds growing bigger and stronger. SEEDs is one of the few DIY-Camps in Penang joining other DIY-Camps throughout Malaysia for one good cause and one of the most fun fundraising event in the world. Participants will have an opportunity to get a first-hand simulated experience of living life in dire conditions through various Famine Challenges and experiential activities. At the end of the fasting period, participants will break-fast together in the DIY Camp venues or in the 30-Hour Famine centralized Countdown event. By going without solid food for 30 hours you can bring change to the lives of those impacted by hunger and poverty. You can give them access to improved health care, a better quality of life and most importantly, HOPE for a brighter tomorrow. We can grow ourselves to be part of the mechanism to help World Vision to promote 30-Hour Famine and help to spread messages to public. Together we can make a difference! SEEDs (之前被称为30-Hour Famine Warriors Penang) 创办于2013年。 它是由一群曾经参加饥饿30 营的营员及志工们一起发动的一项自办营。经过多年的参与经验及聚集共同目标，我们决定让更多的人接触及认识饥饿30，不再只是参与者或募款者，而是把这一项活动发扬给更多人，尤其是槟城人，于是就在槟城创办饥饿30 自办营。

"SEEDs"这个新名称是启发于我们想把饥饿30发扬广大的目标，我们几个来自不同地方，学历，经验，从微小的个人力量，聚集在一起，继而渐渐发芽，推广给更多人知道，我们的成长，只为了一个共同目标，就是让更多的小孩受惠！

参与这项饥饿30自办营的朋友们，你们会获得直接性的受惠。因为你们将会通过各项分享与游戏，从而了解及感受饥饿的小孩们每天所面临的痛苦及担忧，并且将会从中学习如何更有意义的生活。当我们一起经历了30个小时的共同饥饿后，我们大家会一起在活动场地解饥.对于那些有兴趣参与于吉隆坡集体解饥的活动，也可自行参与。

通过饥饿30个小时，你们将会给那些生活贫困及饥饿的人们带来改变。你们会给予他们更好的生活环境，安全措施以及健康的身体。最重要的是，带给他们对未来的希望与展望！

我们可以把自己当作是推广大使，帮助世界宣明会推广饥饿30给大众。让我们一起做这一项改变吧！
