CMET PSA successfully conducted a Calibration vs Verification Awareness Course on 7–8 July 2026, welcoming 12 participants from the Selangor State Health Department (JKN Selangor) and several hospitals across Selangor.

🎯 The two-day programme was designed to enhance participants' understanding of the fundamental differences between calibration and verification, their practical applications, and their critical roles in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and traceability of medical equipment measurements.

💡 Throughout the course, participants engaged in insightful lectures, technical discussions, and hands-on demonstrations conducted by experienced trainers from CMET PSA. The sessions also highlighted best practices aligned with quality management requirements to support safe and effective healthcare services.

🤝 We sincerely thank all participants for their enthusiasm, active engagement, and valuable contributions throughout the programme. We hope the knowledge and experience gained will further strengthen biomedical engineering practices and quality assurance within their respective healthcare institutions.

On 13 April 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mongolia 🇲🇳

A group of 2 lecturers and 9 students joined us for an exciting academic visit filled with learning and sharing!

From exploring our laboratory facilities 🧪 to discovering medical equipment analyzer calibration and research activities, it was a great experience for everyone involved.
