Food safety is fundamental to good health. Every year, millions of people suffer from foodborne illnesses that are largely preventable through proper food handling, preparation, and storage practices.

As we mark this important day, *MWAN Ebonyi State* encourages individuals, families, food vendors, institutions, and policymakers to work together in ensuring that food remains safe from farm to table.

Safe food protects lives, improves health outcomes, reduces healthcare costs, and contributes to national development.

Safe food is everyone's responsibility. Together, we can make safe food available everywhere.
