"When Love Becomes Familiar... Don't Let It Become Casual."

One of the greatest threats to a lasting marriage is not always conflict. Sometimes, it is over-familiarity. The person you once couldn't wait to see becomes the person you hardly notice.
- "Thank you" becomes unnecessary.
- "I love you" becomes rare.
- Respect slowly gives way to routine.
- Attention is replaced by assumption.

This is what many call the "see finish" attitude. Sadly, children are watching. They learn how to value relationships by observing how their parents value each other.

Protect your marriage intentionally.
1. Never stop appreciating your spouse.
2. Speak kindly, even during disagreements.
3. Continue dating each other after the wedding.
4. Never become too familiar to be respectful.
5. Remember, love does not fade because time passes; it fades when it is no longer nurtured.

The greatest gift you can give your children is not a perfect home, but a home where they see two imperfect people who continue to honour, respect, and choose each other every single day.
