Do you know what makes "Walk For Life Nigeria" different from many other mental health gatherings?
It is lived experience.
Many of the people behind this movement have personally battled su!c!dal thoughts.
Some came dangerously close to losing their lives. Some attempted su!c!de and survived.
And today, some of those same people are helping build a movement that tells someone who is struggling:
You can survive this.
Your story is not over.
There is still hope.
That is what makes Walk For Life different.
It is not just a walk.
It is survivors, advocates, mental health professionals, volunteers, and everyday Nigerians coming together to break the silence around su!c!de, challenge the shame and isolation that often surround su!c!dal thoughts, promote prevention and access to support, and remind people that every life is worth fighting for.
On September 10th 2026, we are bringing together 500 Voices of Hope in Abuja, with virtual participation available for those who cannot be there physically.
Walk for someone.
Walk for yourself.
Walk for hope. 💚🧡
