This Children’s Day, we celebrate the smiles, curiosity, energy, and joy that children bring into every space they enter.

Every child deserves the opportunity to grow, dream, explore, and experience a future filled with hope, care, and endless possibilities.

Meet Dr. Diane Awunah, Junior Consultant Cardiologist at The African Medical Centre of Excellence.

She trained in Nigeria, building her foundation in medicine before advancing into internal medicine and cardiology, with early exposure to radiology that strengthened her clinical perspective.

As part of the cardiovascular team at AMCE, she supports outpatient cardiology services and diagnostic care across both routine and complex cardiac cases.

Her work reflects a consistent focus on precision, early detection, and coordinated care in cardiovascular medicine.

Hepatitis B remains one of the leading risk factors for liver cancer, yet it is both preventable and manageable with early detection, vaccination, and proper medical care.

Awareness matters. Screening matters. Prevention matters.

Knowing your status, getting vaccinated, and seeking medical attention early can make a life-changing difference not only for liver health, but for long-term wellbeing overall.

At AMCE, we believe better outcomes begin with informed communities, proactive healthcare, and access to trusted specialist care closer to home.

Protect your liver. Protect your future.

It was a celebration of culture, colour, and expression across the office.

And while everyone showed up looking incredible, one person clearly stood out as the most voted for best dressed.

We are still reliving our Africa Day celebrations.
It was a day filled with laughter, colour, and pride.

We spoke our languages, shared our cultures, and learned something new about each other along the way.

Days like this remind us of the richness within one continent.

Africa is diverse in culture, language, and tradition. Across countries and communities, there is still a shared sense of identity.

Africa Day is a reminder of that diversity, and of the people who continue to shape the continent across different cultures, professions, and lived experiences.

It reflects a continent defined not by one story, but by many voices working, creating, and building across different spaces while still connected by a shared sense of belonging.

Happy Africa Day.

Modern medicine depends on precision, and precision depends on technology that can see deeper, measure accurately, and treat with control.

At The African Medical Centre of Excellence, advanced imaging and treatment systems form the backbone of clinical decision making and cancer care delivery.

Together, these systems support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and complex disease management within a structured clinical environment.

Moments like these are why we do what we do.

Our cancer survivor rang the bell on her birthday. As she steps into a new year, she does so cancer-free, with a fresh start and every reason to embrace the life ahead of her.

With the right clinical care, and a dedicated medical team, positive outcomes become possible.

If you or someone you love is facing a diagnosis, there is hope, and support is closer than you think.

We recently participated in the 2nd Scientific Congress of the Burkinabè Society of Occupational Medicine (SoBuMeT) in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, an important gathering focused on advancing occupational health and regional healthcare collaboration across West Africa.

Beyond the conference, our team also conducted strategic visits to several leading healthcare institutions across Ouagadougou, including Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Tengadogo, Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Bogodogo, Clinique Princess Sarah, Clinique les Oliviers, Polyclinique Notre Dame de la Paix, Polyclinique Internationale de Ouagadougou, Centre Medical International de Ouaga, and Clinique les Opportunités.

These engagements created meaningful opportunities for dialogue around specialised care, patient referrals, institutional collaboration, and the growing importance of strengthening healthcare partnerships within Francophone West Africa.

As we continue to expand our regional footprint, conversations like these remain central to our vision of improving access to advanced, patient-centred healthcare across Africa while building stronger referral networks and clinical partnerships throughout the continent.

We look forward to the possibilities these engagements create for future collaboration.
