Project Feed Them Now: Reaching Rafinzurufi Community, Abuja

As part of UWA Foundation’s Project Feed Them Now, our team visited the Rafinzurufi Community in Abuja to connect with families, listen to their needs, and provide support to the community.

During our visit, the Village Head shared some of the major challenges facing the community, particularly the poor road network and lack of electricity. These challenges affect transportation, access to opportunities, education, healthcare, and the overall quality of life for residents.

At UWA Foundation, we believe that meaningful impact begins with listening, showing up, and taking action. Every community deserves access to basic amenities and the opportunity to thrive.

This visit is a reminder that there are communities around us that need to be seen, heard, and supported.

Together, we can make a difference—one community at a time.

At UWA Foundation, we recently visited LEA Primary School to teach pupils about governance and leadership.

We also shared books, provided uniforms, and paid school fees for some pupils, helping remove barriers to education.

We remain committed to shaping a brighter future, one child at a time. 💙

UWA Foundation at UKP School

We had an inspiring and impactful session with the amazing students of UKP School, where we engaged them on the importance of governance and what it truly means to be responsible citizens.

Through interactive discussions, we helped the students understand their role in shaping society, the value of leadership, accountability, and how everyday actions contribute to building a better community.

Saturday's class showed us that you don't need to be a professional designer before you can create clean and attractive designs.

We spent time learning Canva, understanding colours, choosing the right fonts, arranging elements properly, and avoiding common design mistakes that make flyers look crowded.

The best part? Everything was practical. Now it's time to practice, improve, and keep creating.
