✨ Hello March ✨

Ah, March… the month where we can no longer say, “The year just started” 😌.
New month, fresh files, fresh registers, fresh HMIS uploads, and hopefully, fewer “I will do it later” moments.

As Health Information Management professionals, we humbly pray that this March delivers:
- The strength to complete documentation the same day, not “one day.”
- ⁠The discipline to code correctly, not creatively.
- ⁠The wisdom to remember that “almost correct” is still beautifully wrong.
- ⁠And the grace to treat confidentiality like oxygen, unseen but absolutely essential.

May our entries be legible, our statistics reconcilable, our audits stress-free, and our ethics non-negotiable.
May incomplete folders fear us.
May backlog tremble at our appearance.

Together, let us raise the bar again… and this time, let’s bolt it to the ceiling.

New Year Address by the National President, AHRIMPN

Dear esteemed members of the Association of Health Records and Information Management Practitioners of Nigeria (AHRIMPN),

I warmly welcome you to this new year on behalf of the National Executive Council. It is with a deep sense of responsibility, gratitude, and renewed commitment that I address you at the dawn of this new chapter in our association’s journey.

The New Year offers us a fresh beginning, a moment to reflect, to realign, and to recommit ourselves to the ideals that define us as professionals and as a united body. I sincerely thank every member for the trust, patience, prayers, and support extended to this leadership. Your confidence in us is not taken for granted.

This year marks the beginning of a new dispensation, one driven by purpose, inclusiveness, accountability, and progress. Under the RISE Agenda, our administration is committed to rebuilding unity across all levels of the association, improving the welfare and professional relevance of our members, strengthening institutional capacity, and elevating the visibility of our noble profession nationally.

Be assured that this leadership will listen, engage, and act in the collective interest of all members. We are determined to run an open and responsive administration where ideas are welcomed, voices are heard, and no member is left behind.

As we move forward, I call on every member to partner with us in unity, cooperation, and shared responsibility. Together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant, and more respected association—one that truly reflects our collective strength and professional excellence.

I wish you and your families a prosperous, peaceful, and fulfilling New Year. May it usher in growth, opportunities, and greater achievements for us all.
