OKAY, LET'S TALK
As a man, if you’ve been skipping out on skin care, it’s time for us to talk. You don’t need to do much to repair, protect, and even pamper your mug. We’re recommending the most basic adjustments for long-lasting results. Come learn how to combat breakouts, shaving irritations, and those fine lines that’ll creep out of nowhere!
Plus, a little on what should go on the inside to help the outside shine
Here’s how to get started — or how to brush up your game, because there’s always something new to help buff up your glow.
As with anything we do and expect results, skin care requires consistency. But developing a routine can seem daunting if you don’t know what to do or use.
That’s why A M B R O S I A exists- to streamline skin care for men. Here are the five most basic steps we have highlighted, ones that men usually skimp on.
1. Hydrate!
So, fun fact: The skin is an organ as well. Like every organ, its made up of cells and skin cells, like any other cell in the body is made up of water. Without water, the skin cells- the skin- will not function properly. In the case of the skin, water goes in, hydrates the skin cells and produces a vibrant-looking, healthy, glowing skin thats always refreshed. Without water, the skin becomes dry and flaky and will in turn, lead to wrinkles and lines. Drinking water will also rid the body and skin of toxins so drink water regularly because the skin loses moisture at a fast rate everyday and that water needs to be replenished!
2. Eat fruits!
Water-based fruits to be precise. These will ensure that toxins missed by water and hydration are flushed out. The more vegetables and fruits you eat, the more you can be sure what goes into your body is being reflected on your skin. Water based fruits like watermelons, oranges, pineapples, grapes, cucumbers etc, help break down fatty acids and fats in general, making sure your skin has less dirt and, hence, produces less pimples in general.
3. Use Organic Soaps!:
Use A M B R O S I A. Its really that easy. A M B R O S I A Exfoliation contains active natural ingredients like clay, salt, apple ciders, etc, all natural elements that help cleanse the skin from the outside in, making sure you get that clear, healthy skin that stands out in any setting or environment. A M B R O S I A Skin Toning contains lactic acid, gotten from milk, honey, lime and other citric acids that restore skin tones and clear hyperpigmentation as well as uneven skin tones and tans gotten from sunburns. As an additional pro tip, use A M B R O S I A Exfoliation soap in the morning as a quick cleanser and A M B R O S I A Skin Toning in the evening to heal sunburns and tans gotten from the skin during the day. This helps your skin regenerate naturally and restores it literally overnight without the harsh effects from being in the Sun.
4. Moisturize!:
This goes without saying but, remember what we said earlier about hydration? Well, using a good moisturizer will help to hydrate the outside of the skin , leaving it radiant and smooth and shiny just the way you like it. Better still, go on and use a moisturizer with a good Sun Protection Factor (SPF) or, in simpler terms, good sunscreen.
*Pro Tip:* Use an SPF of at least 30. Good SPFs saves skins lives!
5. REST!!!:
We can't emphasize this enough. Rest. Its simple to see how this affects skin regeneration in more ways than most. We believe that the hardest problems will, most times, pass away when you do almost nothing. This isn't analogical but, in truth, your skin is revitalized when you rest or sleep and your active mind is dormant. Various hormones are released that help various cells in the body be re-energized. We know how hard many men work and how those goals could be hard to reach a lot of times especially as we chase them regularly. We recommend laziness once in a while. Its okay. Your skin needs it and balance is key!
Finally,
Skin Care Goes Deep
Women have long used skin care habits and products as a way to ready themselves for the day or to decompress at night. Fellas should follow suit, if they aren’t already.

He’s a prolific male skin care enthusiast who battled years of skin issues and now shares his insights regarding various products and techniques.
He writes: “I urge you to remember that part of our skin journey is about practicing self-love.” Self-compassion is linked to how we treat and care for others, so you’ve got nothing to lose by being kind to your skin.
