NATAL CARES

I’m excited to share that I’ve been selected as a Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Trust (QECT) Awardee.

This Award commemorates what would have been Queen Elizabeth II’s 100th birthday and continues her legacy of empowering young people to lead positive change across the Commonwealth.

This recognition belongs to the amazing Natal Cares team, our volunteers, partners, and the communities we serve. Thank you for believing in our mission to improve maternal and newborn health.

Probably my biggest Award so far

NATAL CARES

During our outreach in Ugele community, Natal Cares supported pregnant women with WHO-aligned delivery kits containing essential supplies needed for safe and hygienic childbirth. These kits are designed to reduce infection risks and ensure safer delivery conditions for both mother and newborn.

We also engaged the women with simple, practical health education on safe delivery practices, danger signs during pregnancy, and when to seek urgent care.

This intervention is part of our ongoing commitment to improving maternal health outcomes and reducing preventable deaths in underserved communities by bridging critical gaps in access to essential childbirth resources.
