Healthy Oil Vs Bad Oil
I have this client, I have been his Keto coach for 4 years. He has over the years managed his diabetes eating Keto and low carbs. In his words “ Amara , I have traveled all over the world, seen the best of doctors and dieticians, but trust me, nothing else has worked better for me “.
He called me for supplies and meal plan months ago and I saw his cook using Soya oil to cook for him. He argued that he had gotten a replacement for avocado oil as he doesn’t tolerate coconut oil. I tried to explain to him that soya oil could be better than some vegetable oil but never a good choice replacement for someone eating healthier.
When I saw that the argument could last a whole day, I let him be.
So, if you are like this my client, just know that nature doesn’t make bad oil. If you can’t explain how it is done nor understand the processes, it is bad for you.
So, the attached picture explains it well. All the healthy oils are not processed, natural and good for your cardiovascular health. Reason we eat them on Keto. If you argue otherwise, go ahead and enjoy them.
Any oil that is not olive, coconut, palm, avocado, grass fed butter and lard are not compliant if you are on Keto or living a healthy lifestyle. Ekwusigo m!!!( I know he will lash me if he sees this post. Ekwughi meere onu!)
Unlearn and relearn. Nature doesn’t make bad fats.
