Show Love, Not Anger: Understanding Children with Special Needs
Yesterday, I saw a child with an intellectual disability being punished for acting aggressively. Watching him being beaten broke my heart💔. It made me think: children like him are not being “naughty” on purpose. Often, their behavior is a form of communication—a way to express frustration, fear, or confusion in a world that doesn’t always understand them.
These children need patience, guidance, and above all, love. Aggression or misbehavior should never be met with violence. Every act of kindness, understanding, and gentle correction helps them feel safe, valued, and capable of growth.
We have a responsibility to treat all children, especially those with special needs, with compassion. A little love can go a long way in shaping confidence, trust, and emotional well-being. Let’s teach our communities that empathy is stronger than punishment, and care is far more powerful than fear.
Every child deserves love.
