Many people believe healing means forgetting,but the truth is different.It means learning to live without being controlled by what happened. Trying to fight or bury memories often gives them more power. But when you accept them as part of your story, they lose their sting.
Instead of running from the memories, allow them to pass through you.
Instead of suppressing them, understand them.
Instead of fearing them, learn from them.
