Title: A Love That Waited
David and Amara grew up in the same neighborhood. As children, they walked to school together, shared snacks during break, and dreamed about what they wanted to become when they grew up. David wanted to be an engineer, while Amara dreamed of becoming a doctor.
As the years passed, their friendship became stronger. David admired Amara's kindness, and Amara respected David's honesty and determination. Although they cared deeply for each other, neither of them spoke about their feelings because they wanted to focus on their education.
After secondary school, life took them in different directions. David moved to another city for university, while Amara attended medical school far away. They lost contact for several years.
One day, during a school reunion, they met again. The moment they saw each other, they smiled as if no time had passed. They spent hours talking about their lives, their struggles, and the dreams they had finally achieved.
David realized he had never stopped loving Amara. Before the evening ended, he looked into her eyes and said, "You have always been the person who made my life brighter. Will you give us a chance?"
With tears of joy, Amara smiled and replied, "I have been waiting to hear those words for years."
They began building a future together, supporting each other through every challenge. Their love was not built on riches or appearance, but on trust, patience, respect, and years of genuine friendship.
A year later, surrounded by family and friends, David and Amara were married. As they danced at their wedding, they remembered the two children who once walked to school hand in hand, never knowing that one day they would walk through life together forever.
